Isle of Arran

A ferry ride. A wild landscape. Golden eagles. Fun and laughter. Standing stones. Bite-size mountains rising steeply from the sea. Sandy bays. Coastal walks. Quiet glens. This is a Highland experience in miniature, on one accessible island.

Arran packs in a bewildering amount of variety with granite peaks, rolling forests and choice beaches, with views changing at every turn.

The Isle of Arran is known as 'Scotland in miniature' and is famed as the most geologically diverse part of Britain. The isle is an ideal scale for walking, and is blessed with a mild climate that enables palm trees to flourish in coastal gardens.
