On these holidays there is a choice of two guided walks of varying difficulty each day.
ITINERARY
Day 1: arrival day |
|
Day 2: traverse the lower slopes of the Ter Valley from Setcases to Tregurá; a great introduction to this peaceful and unspoilt area of Catalonia.
Day 3: follow the GR11 long distance path through the rolling green hills and valleys from Molló to Beget, a most attractive stone-built village full of traditional charm.
Day 4: travel south to walk amidst the fascinating extinct volcanoes of Garroxta. Discover more about this unusual landscape as you walk to the medieval walled village of Santa Pau.
Day 5: free day - perhaps take the mountain tramway from Ribes de Freser to the sanctuary at Núria, an important pilgrimage site that is inaccessible by road and surrounded by towering peaks.
Day 6: enjoy attractive valley walks around the small market town of Camprodon or tackle the magnificent high-level route from Molló to Setcases.
Day 7: experience the superb mountain scenery at the head of the Ter Valley where the walks include beautiful cascading streams and waterfalls, or perhaps one of the summits on the French border.
Day 8: departure day

Each year we listen carefully to the views of our guests and make improvements to our walking programmes. Further information will be sent to you prior to your holiday; however the final selection of walks will be made by your walking leaders.

local transport (payable locally in Euros), excluding your free day.

Your leaders will carry a number of maps and guides for this
holiday. If you would like to obtain one for your own enjoyment
it is normally only possible to purchase large scale tourist
