On these holidays there is a choice of two guided walks for varying abilities each day.
ITINERARY
Day 1: arrival day |
|
Day 2: wander by Olü Deniz’s turquoise lagoon and
through pine-clad slopes to visit the deserted Greek
village of Kayaköy, the inspiration for Louis de
Bernieres’ Birds Without Wings.
Day 3: enjoy a day of outstanding coastal views and
traditional villages as we follow the Lycian Way to the
ancient ruined city of Sidyma.
Day 4: admire the magnificent white beach and the
ancient ruined city of Patara, reached via peaceful
pine forests and the historic Roman Aqueduct.
Day 5: free day - a visit to the ancient Lycian city of
Kaunos and the unspoilt Iztuzu Beach, or sail across Fethiye's stunning Bay of Twelve Islands.
Day 6: follow the first leg of the Lycian Way, voted
one of the top ten walks in the world by the Sunday
Times, with Baba Dag (Father Mountain) providing a
stunning backdrop.
Day 7: walk from Fethiye over the promentary and take a boat to explore ancient Gemiler Island.

Each year we listen carefully to the views of our guests and make improvements to our walking programmes. Further information will be sent to you prior to your holiday; however the final selection of walks will be made by your walking leaders.

Local transport is not included in the cost of your holiday.
Please allow 150 Turkish Lira (approx £57) for
local transport (payable locally in Euros), excluding your free day.

Your leaders will carry a number of maps and guides for this
holiday. If you would like to obtain one for your own enjoyment
it is normally only possible to purchase large scale tourist
maps in the UK. Maps can be obtained by mail order from The

Fethiye 'with flight' you will fly into Dalaman airport. The onward
