Freshwater Bay House, named after the semi-circular bay on which it
stands, is a famous landmark within yards of some of the finest walking on
the island. Steps lead down to a beach, while downland rises just behind the
property. Many of the bedrooms have sea views, while others look over gardens
and downland. The Isle of Wight is a world unto itself with chalk cliffs, gorse-flecked
hilltops and thatched villages.

HF Holidays own and manage this Country House accommodation to ensure that you enjoy
a high level of service. A warm welcome from caring staff awaits you. Our Country House accommodation caters exclusively for our guests and the atmosphere is very much
like a house party - it's all a far cry from the anonymity of a conventional hotel.
Public Rooms - Three lounges, bar, ballroom and games
room.
Facilities - Boot room, drying room, laundry facilities,
mini-shop, croquet, putting, fun-sized lawn tennis, badminton,
volleyball and outdoor heated pool, open May to September.
No Smoking - Freshwater Bay House is designated as non-smoking. Smoking
is also not allowed on transport provided during any holiday.
You can be assured of a friendly and personal service throughout your stay
with us.

There are 47 bedrooms at Freshwater Bay House. Single, Twin
and Family rooms are available. Most have en-suite facilities
(bath or shower and WC). You'll find complimentary tea and
coffee making facilities, hair dryer and clock radio. Televisions
and telephones are not provided in the bedrooms.

Fresh ingredients, carefully chosen provide an excellent local and international
cuisine. A vegetarian option is available at all times.
Dining arrangements are for tables of 6 or 8 in an informal atmosphere.
Breakfast: Choice of continental or full English breakfast.
Lunch: Our famous self-select picnic lunch.
Dinner: A table d'hote evening meal followed by coffee and mints.

BY ROAD / FERRY: To Lymington 1 hour from M27, Junction
1. Lymington to Yarmouth by ferry (4 miles from Freshwater
Bay House). Free car parking available in the grounds.
BY NATIONAL EXPRESS COACH: Travel to Lymington. For further information
on routes, times and prices visit
www.nationalexpress.com, quoting ref HFHOLTEN to receive a discount. Then a taxi to the ferry,
a crossing to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight followed by another
taxi to our hotel.
BY RAIL / FERRY: To Yarmouth station. Visit thetrainline.com for train
information and to book tickets.
Transfer to House: (4 miles).
Taxi: allow £8 per journey (less if shared).
FERRY TIME: Lymington to Yarmouth - 35 minutes.
BY AIR: The nearest airports are Southamton and Gatwick.
