Nether Grange began life as a granary and the Country House accommodation retains
much of its old character. It stands in the centre of the quiet harbour village
of Alnmouth, in the Northumberland Coastal Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
and has choice views. A croquet lawn extends the length of the house to a delightful
sun terrace and patio overlooking a golf course and the beach. There are cafes
and shops in the village.

a high level of service. A warm welcome from caring staff awaits you. Our Country House accommodation caters exclusively for our guests and the atmosphere is very much
like a house party - it's all a far cry from the anonymity of a conventional hotel.

with games area.
Facilities - Boot room, drying room, laundry facilities,
painting / craft studio and table tennis.
No Smoking - Nether Grange is designated as non-smoking. Smoking is
also not allowed on transport provided during any holiday.

Most have en-suite facilities (bath or shower and WC). You'll find complimentary

Fresh ingredients, carefully chosen provide an excellent local and international
cuisine. A vegetarian option is available at all times.
Dining arrangements are for tables of 6 or 8 in an informal atmosphere.

Dinner: A table d'hote evening meal followed by coffee and mints.

BY ROAD: 1 hour north of Newcastle off the A1. Limited street parking.
BY NATIONAL EXPRESS COACH: Travel to Newcastle. For further information

www.nationalexpress.com, quoting ref HFHOLTEN to receive a discount. From Newcastle take bus no.
518 from Haymarket Bus Station to Alnmouth. The fare is approx £2.50
with a journey time of approximately 15 minutes.
Passengers should alight at the church in Northumberland Street,
Alnmouth.
BY RAIL: To Alnmouth station. Visit thetrainline.com for train

Transfer to House: (1½ miles).
Taxi: allow £5.00 per journey (less if shared).
