The Heart of the Perigord Noir
Independent Cycling Tour

This eight-day tour for more experienced cyclists wanders through the Dordogne valley, from the ancient town of Souillac, to linger in the lovely Renaissance city of Sarlat. It continues over hills past medieval fortresses, elegant chateaux and fortified towns. Turning north to follow its tributary the Vézère, you explore prehistoric Les Eyzies and visit the world-famous caves of Lascaux, before returning south to Souillac.
