are a few of the places you can visit whilst
in the area:
Hoge Veluwe National Park. Extensive
foot and cycle paths, the Kröller Müller Van Gogh
Museum, Sculpture garden.
Apenheul Park houses some 300 monkeys, most of them
roaming freely. Spot the gorillas and other large apes running
free on an island.
Harderwijk Dolphinarium. All the sea animals you could
ever wish to see, with three shows daily. 3-D underworld movie
'Sea Dream' and the 'Lagune' for dolphins. There is also a
dolphin care and research centre.
Burgers' Zoo and Safari. Featuring the remarkable
Burger Bush and desert - a covered tropical rainforest and
adjoining desert. Visit the underwater world in the Burgers'
ocean.
Openlucht museum. The museum takes you back 250 years
to show how daily life in Holland has evolved. Take part in
activities such as pumping water and milking cows, or simply
wander around the 80 buildings from all over Holland.
Palace Het Loo. Visit the beautiful royal gardens,
and exquisitely decorated palace.
If all this sounds like too much, then just sit back and enjoy
one of the most stunning natural areas in Holland, with its
ancient forests, castles and wildlife.
