will uncover for you the wonders of Denmark's southern islands.

Eight days of cycling along country roads. There is
some uneven ground, and you will need to take your
bike with you on the ferries from island to island. |
Day 1: Arrival in Svendborg
Day 2: Svendborg to Nyborg
28 miles
Cycle up the coast past the fishing hamlet of Lundeborg towards
Nyborg.
The home of Scandinavia’s oldest royal fortified castle. Your hotel is located just outside Nyborg.
Day 3: Nyborg to Næstved
37 miles
You cross the Great Belt Bridge by
train to the island of Sealand. Cycle along the coast to the medieval centre
of Næstved.
Day 4: Næstved to Stege
28 miles
The day starts with a train ride to Vordingborg. You then
cycle through the countryside to the island of Møn.
Your hotel for two nights is just outside the town of Stege.
Day 5: Free day
A day to explore the delightful island of Møn at your
own pace. A trip to the famous Møns Klint cliffs would
be highly recommended.
Day 6: Stege to Nykøbing
35 miles
Cross to the island of Bogø and then catch the ferry
to the island of Falster. You continue to your hotel in Nykøbing.
Day 7: Nykøbing to Maribo
26 miles
The next island on your way is Lolland. The highlight is the
lovely old town of Nysted and Aalholm castle. Your hotel for
two nights is located in the town of Maribo.
Day 8: Maribo
16 miles
An optional day excursion visiting two more islands, the idyllic
Askø and the tiny Lillø.
Day 9: Maribo to Svendborg
30 miles
Take the train to Nakskov before taking the ferry from Tårs
to the Island of Langeland. You continue to the Island of
Tåsinge via Siø Island, before returning
to Svendborg for the night.
Day 10: End of tour after breakfast

You will stay in double or twin rooms in comfortable 3-star hotel accommodation along the route. Your luggage is transported to each overnight stop for you, so you can relax and enjoy the cycling.
All accommodation is on a Bed & Breakfast basis.
