More about Leisure Activity Holidays

Dancing

It’s not just strictly Ballroom, there’s a whole world of dance to discover on these fabulous breaks. Mixing tuition from experts with fun sessions to show off your new moves.

IMPORTANT FACTS

  • Holidays, unless otherwise stated, usually have a 3-hour session in the morning, with a coffee break. There’s time off in the afternoons to relax or enjoy the many local attractions before we meet again for a late afternoon session. In the evenings we put our new skills into supervised practice at a
    social dance.
  • Individual descriptions indicate the level of ability or experience required.
  • Many guests come on their own, although we cannot guarantee to arrange partners.
  • We use good sound equipment at all our venues, with some specialist equipment such as variable speed CD players used when necessary.
  • Where walks are included, you’ll need a certain amount of clothing and equipment for safety and enjoyment. Transport to and from each walk is included in the holiday price.
  • Depending on the interests of other guests in the hotel we may join them for the occasional evening of social dancing or a Ceilidh

Why not try...
Yoga and Circle Dance - Experience this natural synergy. Yoga sessions each morning and late afternoon are complemented by afternoon and evening sessions discovering dances from around the world.

Beginners' Ballroom

Where did Natasha Kaplinsky or Mark Ramprakesh start their climb to victory in TV’s Strictly Come Dancing? By learning the basic steps of the Waltz, Quickstep, Social Foxtrot and the Cha-Cha-Cha. We might not turn you into champions overnight but we will teach you enough to impress your friends on any dance floor. It’s
romantic, graceful and easy to learn and it’s even more fun than it looks on TV.
