Guided Classic Walking holidays are a great way to see the countryside and enjoy a choice of walks each day. This holiday style offers the widest choice of locations from the Isle of Wight and the Lake District to stunning Alpine locations and the Canary Islands.

Guided Classic Walking holidays for families are offered at a number of locations and work just like our Classic Walking holidays but are especially for families only. Also try Guided Classic Walking for families plus for younger children.

Guided or Self-guided cycling tours on offer in Holland, France, Austria and Hungary are ideal ways for active families to see the sights from the saddle. There’s no need to be experienced cyclists as our breaks range from occasional cyclist upwards. Guided Walking and Cycling for families. Get the best of both worlds with a couple of days dedicated to each activity on traffic-free routes during a week at our Country House accommodation in the Derbyshire Dales. Just twenty minutes from the theme park Alton Towers, it’s easy to make that part of your week away too.

Multi-activity Adventure such as abseiling, archery and kayaking are perfect for children to burn off their extra energy. We offer these activities for children from 8 years upwards, while parents can enjoy a leisurely walk in the countryside, a good long mountain walk or just a relaxing dip in the pool without the kids during the day. Meet up at tea time and catch up on the day’s activities.

NEW Ridges & Scrambles for Families. This great holiday for active teenagers offers the opportunity to experience some of the most exhilarating ridges and scrambles in the Lake District. A flexible programme allows the routes to be chosen to suit the group.

Guided Half Day Walks are a good idea if you don’t want to be out walking all day. Our morning walk of 3 to 5 miles ends after lunch leaving the afternoon free to visit local sights, organise an impromptu game of rounders in the hotel’s spacious grounds or just take a dip in the hotel pool. We have a range of holidays that every member of your family can enjoy, without any previous knowledge.
