Holidays for groups
Our dedicated team will discuss your needs and advise you on the most suitable locations for your group requirements.
In addition, once you have made a provisional booking, for which there is normally no obligation for one month and to help you plan your trip, we offer Group organisers a free preview visit to your chosen Country House accommodation in the UK.
This offer is only available to Group organisers whose groups are organising their own activities or where groups will join a holiday from our brochure and have sole occupancy of the Country House accommodation.
The preview consists of one night's dinner, bed, breakfast and picnic lunch free of charge for one person. If your group has sole occupancy of the Country House accommodation you may find it useful to learn the location of bedrooms in order to allocate the most suitable rooms to your group members. Preview visits are subject to availability (we ask that you have a choice of dates ready as your first choice may not be available) and can only be booked 10 to 14 days prior to the preferred date of your visit.
If you wish to visit the Country House accommodation before you make a provisional booking, we can arrange your trip at a charge, which will be reimbursed if you subsequently make a group booking to that particular Country House.

All sorts of groups book with HF Holidays. Some groups choose to join a holiday advertised in one of our brochures. Others prefer to do their own thing and book full board accommodation where they can organise their own activities. Some of our regular groups enjoy activities such as walking, yoga, dancing and bridge.

We can offer a choice of travel arrangements.
• Coach: Holidays including coach transfers from your hometown to the HF Holidays' Country House accommodation can be arranged. Please ask our Groups Team for details and costs.
• Flights : On overseas departures we offer holidays, which include flights and return airport transfer. Alternatively we offer holidays for the independent traveller, which do not include flights, and the airport transfer may be booked at a small charge. Where independent travellers wish to use the transfer service they must arrive at the airport prior to the arrival of the main group.

Should you, or any member of your party, be forced to cancel your holiday booking you must do so in writing and this letter must be signed by the person who signed the group booking agreement. A cancellation will take effect from the date that written notice is received at our office. All such cancellations will be subject to a percentage charge of the total holiday price, and the following scale indicates the maximum, which will be charged in any circumstance:

Note: If the reason for the cancellation is covered under the terms of your holiday insurance policy you may be able to reclaim these charges. Cancellation charges are exclusive of holiday insurance premiums.
If your group has booked accommodation only or an organised programme holiday prior to publication of our brochures you are also entitled to our special offer cancellation protection. This cover means that, if your group reduces by up to 10% of the original group size, prior to your holiday date, cancellation charges will not be applied. Any further cancellations will incur charges as detailed above. If the number in your group reduces to below 11 adults, you will no longer qualify for group discounts and your price will increase.

The majority of our packages for groups include full board accommodation as follows:
UK Country House accommodation (except partner hotels), some Worldwide
Full board accommodation including afternoon tea on arrival and picnic lunch for your journey home.
Partner hotels in UK, Europe, some Worldwide
Half board accommodation (breakfast and dinner) with the opportunity to purchase lunch locally.

We operate an Advance Registration service where you can register your interest in a group booking for future years. These enquiries are dealt with on a first come first served basis so the earlier you register the more likely you are to be offered your first choice.

We offer a wealth of discounts to groups who book with us as follows:
Accommodation only
Groups who book accommodation and meals only will benefit from already reduced prices.
If both deposits are paid by the original due dates a discount of £2.00 per person will apply.
Take a holiday with your group every 12 months and we'll give you and your group up to 15% off the price of your holiday. Our groups Loyalty GOLD Plan provides excellent value for your group members.
