Your group will be staying in high quality accommodation, personally inspected and chosen for their warmth of welcome. Your group will also receive a comprehensive Personal Information Pack which includes the best available maps, walking route notes, detailed information about local attractions, shops and restaurants, and plenty to ensure a safe and enjoyable holiday.

Example itinerary - The Best of Hadrian's Wall Trail
Day 1: arrive at your friendly accommodation in Brampton.
Day 2: walk from Brampton to Gilsland, via the remains of Lanercost Priory, before discovering more of the region's history at Birdoswald Roman Fort. (9 miles, 870ft of ascent, 3hrs 30mins)
Day 3: pass the ruins of Thirlwall Castle, the fascinating Roman Army Museum and the stunning scenery at Walltown and Cawfield Crags as you walk from Gilsland to Once Brewed. (9 miles, 1,270ft of ascent, 4hrs 30mins)
Day 4: enjoy a circular walk from Once Brewed, taking you past the beautiful lake of Crag Lough and the Roman forts at Housesteads and Vindolanda. Discover well-preserved Roman artefacts and on-going excavations at these two excellent interactive visitor centres. (7½ miles, 985ft of ascent, 3hrs 15mins)
Day 5: walking from Housesteads you follow the wall over the crags once more before the walking becomes flatter. Take time to visit the Roman fort or the walled herb garden at Chesters, before arriving at the pretty village of Chollerford situated on the River Tyne. (10 miles, 520ft of ascent, 4hrs)
Day 6: Complete your trail by walking to the attractive medieval village of Corbridge, where you can visit the Corbridge Roman museum and enjoy the shops and restaurants. (7½ miles, 600ft of ascent, 4 hrs)
Day 7: depart after breakfast or stay an extra night in Corbridge to relax and explore the area.
