This was my first HF Holiday and my first holiday alone. I needn't have worried, everyone was friendly and welcoming from the minute I arrived. My fellow guests were really good company and I soon made friends. The walks along the coastal paths were beautiful, the weather couldn't have been better and the leaders were all really good - especially the wonderful Harry Wroe! The food was so good that despite all the walking I still came home four pounds heavier. I will definitely holiday with HF Holidays again.

Exmoor, Selworthy

Isle of Wight, Freshwater Bay

The Hotel was clean and well managed. The food was excellent and service of a high standard. The leaders were:
Jane - Great fun, great personality who made the walks a pleasure to go on.
Francis - Masses of local knowledge very warm and friendly personality, a bit like having your mum on hand to cope with any emergencies. In short first rate.
David - Real charm with a dry sense of humour, enjoyed his company immensely.

Southern Lake District, Conistonwater

Christmas Break 2005
I am just back from my first festive break, although I am a regular guest. The holiday was wonderful, the amount of food almost overwhelming. As always on these holidays it is so nice to be able to arrive on my own and within a very short time feel a part of what is going on. Everyone is so welcoming.

Swanage, Purbeck Hills

Scotland, Isle of Arran

My husband and I really didn't know what to expect when we signed up for our HF Holiday - we just knew that we wanted to get away and do something different. We had such and unbelievably good time that I'm still in shock. The people, both the guests and guides, were enjoyable and delightful. The accomodations were lovely. The staff was perfect. I can't think of one way to improve upon our holiday and I so look forward to our next one.
