scenery throughout, we’ll follow the coast to the chic resort of
Positano, before a memorable final day to the breathtaking
viewpoint of Monte Faito.

35 miles with 6½ to 9 miles and up to 2,450ft of ascent per day. The final day has 4,000ft of descent and is rough underfoot. |
Day 1: arrival day
Day 2: wander through the historic streets of Sorrento and
then continue down the peninsula to the villages of Massa Lubrense and the
church of San Maria.
Day 3: enjoy views of Capri as we round Punta Campanella
and follow the undulating coastline to Nerano.
Day 4: more superb coastal
scenery can be appreciated from the elevated path that takes us to the Colli
di San Pietro.
Day 5: free day to explore independently with opportunities to visit
Pompei or the island of Capri.
Day 6: continue to the magnificent viewpoint at the
church of St Mary of Castello and then descend the steep hillside to the chic
resort of Positano.
Day 7: with a cable-car ride to the summit of Monte Faito, a memorable last day takes us over the Lattari mountains back to the church of St Mary of Castello.

Making your own travel arrangements
By Air: Naples' Airport is served by a number of scheduled and charter flights from the UK and the rest of Europe. If you are booking your own 'low cost' flight then you could consider one of these options:

Transfer to the Hotel Caravel:
 Our Airport Hoppa service operates at this resort, offering quick and easy transfers for guests booking their own flights. All prices are per person for single journeys, allowing you to mix and match different transfer options. Transfers must be pre-booked no later than 5 weeks before departure - we will then confirm all the details approximately 3 weeks before your holiday.
From Naples Airport

Direct transfer coaches - these are timed to meet the HF Holidays' flights.
Taxis - can be booked to meet any flight and offer a direct transfer to your hotel. To keep costs to a minimum you may share with other HF Holidays' guests.
Direct buses from the Airport to San Agnello are operated by 'Curreri Viaggi'. There are currently 6 buses per day (every 1½ hours) with the journey taking about 1 hour. By Train: Main line trains will take you as far as Naples. For train times and further information visit the Italian railways website: www.trenitalia.com
From Naples you should take the narrow gauge 'Circumvesuviana' railway. Trains depart from a separate station in Naples which lies adjacent to the main railway station. Trains run every 30 minutes and take about 50 minutes to reach San Agnello. Train timetables can be found at www.sorrentoservice.com/eng (click on 'timetable' then on 'local train')
Alight at Sant Agnello station, the penultimate stop before the terminus at Sorrento. The Hotel Caravel is a 10-15 minute walk from the station; alternatively taxis are available.
