Our popular guided Hotel to Hotel Trail Holidays offer you the chance to walk some of the finest national trails and long distance footpaths. Hotel to Hotel: stopping in a different place along the route, with your luggage transferred between each overnight base.

All holidays commence with dinner and an introductory briefing on the first night and finish after breakfast on the last day. We generally start the day at about 9.30am, taking a picnic lunch and walk to the next hotel in time for a relaxed dinner. The group size will normally be between 6 and 14 and will be accompanied by an experienced leader.

The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. There is a mix of ages, of new clients and 'regulars' from Britain and overseas, and of couples, friends and people travelling alone.

All our walks leaders are experienced enthusiasts who provide thoughtful, safe and informative leadership at all times.

• Accommodation in small and friendly hotels, family-run guesthouses and country inns along or very near the trail. Rooms are usually en-suite with private bathrooms, but these occasionally may not always be available in some locations where accommodation is limited.
• All meals - a traditional cooked breakfast, evening meal and a picnic lunch each day. We are always able to cater for vegetarian diets provided you inform us when booking.
• The service of an HF Holidays' walks leader.
• Luggage transfer (one suitcase per person) between each overnight stop.

What the holiday includes in Europe

• Accommodation ranges from comfortable hotels to simple Greek taverns. Rooms are usually en-suite with private bathrooms, but these occasionally may not always be available in some locations where accommodation is limited. Single and Double rooms are limited so please book early.
• Meal Plans vary dependent on the holiday. In Ireland, Cyprus and Turkey they are Full Board, with all meals; in Italy they are Half Board, with a continental breakfast and evening meal allowing you the chance to buy a local specialty for your picnic lunch. We are always able to cater for vegetarian diets provided you inform us when booking.
• The service of an HF Holidays' walks leader and/or a local leader.
• Luggage transfer (one suitcase per person) between each hotel.
