Alexander Technique

The Alexander Technique has been taught in this country since 1904. Its originator, FM Alexander, was forced to find a solution to his own problems, creating a method of re-education, which makes a strong connection between the way we habitually ‘use’ ourselves, and its effect on our functioning.

This holiday is ideal for beginners and those with some experience of Alexander Technique.

Highlights include:

• With small groups, experienced tutors are able to give individual attention and enable you to radically and subtly change your movement patterns
• Improve your balance, correct support, co-ordination and how to move, sit, lie or stand with the minimum of strain on your body
• Develop these very useful skills, applicable to all activities in life, with the advantage of being able to continue the new way of thinking on your own
• Demonstrations and instruction in the morning and some early evening sessions
