*Valence has two railway stations, one for the TGV (Valence is on the main Paris – Marseilles TGV line), and one for all other trains. Valence Ville station is closer to St Romain de Lerps (the start of your holiday).

Should you wish to take a taxi transfer from the train station to your first night’s accommodation, it would be cheaper if you arrived at Valence Ville train station.

If you arrive at Valence TGV station, there is a frequent bus service (every 30 minutes), which connects Valence TGV to Valence Ville railway station. The journey costs €2 (2009).

Trains to Valence from Paris depart from Paris Gare Lyon. If you arrive by Eurostar, from London, you will arrive at Paris Gare Nord. It is a short metro journey between the two stations.
