Day 1: Arrival at Lake Bled (4-star accommodation). Visit the island church and marvel at the unique view.
Day 2: Transfer to the high plateau at Pokljuka. Journey through the many small alpine villages scattered across the valley before reaching the small settlement of Ribčev Laz (Fishermans Pass) lying next to the stunning Lake Bohinj. Cycle through alpine villages to Ribčev Laz next to Lake Bohinj before taking a cable car to the Vogel Mountain.
Day 3: Cycle to the Jelovica plateau before leaving the Bohinj valley and passing through the village of Sorica, the birthplace of the famous Slovene painter, Ivan Grohar. The days ride finishes in the wonderful town of Škofja Loka.
Day 4: Cycle through the great Sora plain with the majestic peaks of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. The day ends in Preddvor where your hotel is set beside a small lake where you can take a swim in the refreshing alpine water before dinner.

Day 5: Today’s ride cycles along the edge of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps to Radovljica. Visit the village of Kropa and pay a visit the iron forging museum. Here you can take a first-hand look at the blacksmith trade and even make your own nail!
Day: 6 Cycle to the historic village of Begunje and visit the world famous WW2 museum and visit the ruins of Kamen Castle. The route passes through the Julian Alps and the Karawanke Mountains to Kranjska Gora, popular for its famous ski resorts.
Day 7: Start the day with a nice downhill ride back into the heart of the Triglav National Park. The route takes you alongside the Sava Dolinka River as it cuts its way south to join the Sava Bohinjka, where it becomes the Sava River, the longest river in Slovenia. Head through the Krma Valley passing several WW2 monuments and small villages back to Bled.
Day 8: Departure day.
You will be provided with a 24-gear touring bicycle. You will also be supplied with a basic repair kit, pannier, lock and milometer.
You will receive an information pack containing your route directions and maps, and tourist information on arrival at your first hotel.
