Our ‘with rail’ holidays include a transfer from Bruges train station to the hotel. You will meet your HF Holidays' leader at the station and transfer to the Hotel Maraboe by taxi.

All our City Breaks can also be booked without rail. This is ideal if you are travelling from overseas, or prefer to make your own arrangements. If you choose this option the transfer to the hotel is not included.

Travel by Eurostar from London St Pancras or Ashford International to Brussels and then take a local train Bruges. Further information is available at www.eurostar.com

By air to Brussels

From Brussels Airport: The most convenient means of public transport is to take the train to Bruges, changing at Brussels Midi Station. The journey takes around 1 hour 40 minutes and is cheap, clean and efficient. Train times can be found on http://www.b-rail.be

From Brussels-Charleroi Airport: A regular shuttle bus service connects the terminal with Gare du Midi station in Brussels and takes approximately one hour. From here a train service departs for Bruges every 30 minutes and takes around an hour. Train times can be found on www.b-rail.be.

From Bruges Central railway station to the Hotel Maraboe: The hotel is a short walk (15 minutes) from the railway station. Leave the station by the main exit then cross the big square, going slightly to the left to the traffic lights. Cross the road and head left in to Westmeerspark. Walk through the park and past the concert hall (a large red building). Continue across the square to reach Hoefijzerlaan Street. The hotel is the fifth building on the left.
