The Cathedral of Santiago

One of the most beautiful cathedrals in Europe, this stunning Romanesque building is located on the Praza do Obradoiro. Legend states the cathedral is the final resting place of the Apostle St James, and is the destination of the many pilgrims walking the Camino de Santiago.

Cathedral Museum, Santiago

Visitors can see three different parts of the Cathedral, including the Crypt of the Porch of Glory, Sacred Area Chapel of Relics, Royal Pantheon and Treasury, and the Cloister Areas.

Fortaleza de Sarria

The town’s castle once dominated the skyline, high above the old town. All that remains today is a single tower after it was dismantled in 1860.
