Camino de Santiago Self-Guided Trail

Our accommodation is at comfortable hotels and guesthouses, on or near the route. Each has been selected for their character, quality and their warm welcome and friendly service. We have a selection of accommodation in each location, here is a selection of those we use.

Sarria: Hotel Carrís Alfonso IX

Hotel Carrís Alfonso IX is located in the heart of Sarria. This is a modern hotel. Their ensuite rooms include toiletries, cable TV, and hairdryers. There is also an outdoor swimming pool.

Portomarin: Hotel Pousada de Portomarin

The Pousada de Portomarin lies at the heart of the Pilgrim´s Way, on the borders of the river Miño, surrounded by spectacular scenery. Rooms are ensuite, with cable TV, and hairdryer. There is also a sauna and a swimming pool.

Palas do Rei: La Cabana

This charming hotel is built entirely of wood. In the middle of an estate surrounded by gardens, pine and chestnut trees, through which the Camino de Santiago passes. All rooms are ensuite, with TV, phone and hairdryer.

Arzua: Pension Casa Teodora

This small hotel has 29 rooms, along with some dormitories. We stay in ensuite rooms, each with TV. There is a social area where you can meet some of the many other travellers making their pilgrimage along the Camino.

Rua: Pension de Acrivo

This is a charming guesthouse with warm welcoming hosts. It has a nice garden area to site outside on. Traditional Galician food is cooked by your host.

Santiago: Hotel Herradura

Located in the heart of the old city of Santiago, the hotel is next to La Alameda gardens and the Paseo de la Herradura. Rooms are ensuite and equipped with hairdryer, TV and telephone.
