The Cathedral of Santiago
One of the most beautiful cathedrals in Europe, this stunning Romanesque building is located on the Praza do Obradoiro. Legend states the cathedral is the final resting place of the Apostle St James, and is the destination of the many pilgrims walking the Camino de Santiago.

The town’s castle once dominated the skyline, high above the old town. All tha remains today is a single tower after it was dismantled in 1860.
