Walks, some on uneven surfaced paths, range from 2 to 6 miles. Many are on the flat and the greatest ascent on any one walk is 800 feet.

Day 1: To Istanbul - Fly to Istanbul and transfer to the city centre hotel for 3 nights.

Day 2: Istanbul - A first morning in Istanbul includes a boat trip on the Bosphorus, the straits that separate Europe and Asia. Walk to Genevize Castle and lighthouse and continue to a small Black Sea coast village for lunch.

Ornate church roof in CappadocciaDay 3: Istanbul - Walking tour of historic Istanbul, visiting the Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern, the amazing museums of the Topkapi Plalace and the Grand Bazaar.

Day 4: To Cappadocia - Fly to Nevsehir and transfer to the town of Uçhisar and the Argos Evleri Hotel for a stay of 6 nights. Afternoon walk to Uçhisar Castle for magnificent views of the Göreme valley and Cappadocia’s extraordinary geology.

Hot air ballooms over CapaddociaDay 5: Love Valley - Morning visit to the Göreme open air museum, a Christian pilgrimage centre and a World Heritage Site, where rock churches were carved in the 4th century. Continue to Zelve Paşabag and the Dervent Valley, for close up views of the fairy chimneys and where traditional crafts can be observed.

Day 6: Derinkuyu - Visit the amazing Derinkuyu underground city, which has been inhabited since the time of the Hittites around 2,000BC. Walk in the Ihlara Valley, a deep canyon with churches cut from the rock, resplendent with frescos.

Day 7: Cappadocia - A free day to relax or enjoy activities such as hot air ballooning, wine tasting or horse riding.

Fairy chimneys in CappadocciaDay 8: Soganli Valley - Morning visit to the small village of Mustafapaşa, with its stone house facades that used to house a Greek community. Later, walk in the Soganli valley with beautiful churches containing frescoes dating from the 9th to 13th century, and visit the recently discovered ancient Roman city. This evening witness sunset in Kizilcukur and sample delicious local wines.

Day 9: Village Life - Walk through the charming traditional villages of Zindan, Önü and Çavuşin, with the chance to taste some local delicacies.

Day 10: To London - Fly to Istanbul and connect with an onward flight to London, arriving this evening.
