The Coleridge Way is a guided walking trail holiday between the Quantocks and Exmoor, based on Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s wanderings in the West Country. Coleridge was an epic walker and his time in the West Country was his most productive, writing The Ancient Mariner, Kubla Khan, Christabel and The Nightingale to name just a few. The trail was opened in 2005 and is sponsored by the Exmoor National Park, the Quantocks Areas of Outstanding National Beauty and local councils.
