Enjoy a half-day walk in the morning of 3 to 4 miles, returning to the comfort of your Country House after lunch. Although the distances and ascents are modest we aim to include the best scenery.

Holiday highlights:

• Picturesque harbour of Sennen Cove and the Land’s End peninsula
• Botallack, a hamlet in “Poldark” country with its Crown Mine engine houses on the cliff
• The lovely Porthminster Beach and the coast path around St Ives
