Follow in the footsteps of the twelve knights who in 1240 walked around the royal hunting grounds of Dartmoor to determine its boundaries. This is a historic, highly scenic, moorland walk which justly deserves its title of Dartmoor’s Greatest Walk

• Prehistoric standing stones including the Long Stone, one of the knights’ landmarks
• Scenic Dartmeet, the confluence of the East and West Dart
• Bronze Age burial cairn of Eastern White Barrow

• High Willhays, Dartmoor’s highest hill
