Becky Falls Woodland Park

No visit to Devon would be complete without a day at Dartmoor’s famous Becky Falls, where there really is something for everyone to enjoy. Set within a spectacular ancient valley, the falls have been attracting visitors for over 100 years.

Kents Cavern and English Riviera Geopark

Set within the stunning, rolling hills of South Devon this prehistoric show cave is gateway to UNESCO's English Riviera Global Geopark, recognised for its rich geological, historical and cultural heritage. 

Miniature Pony Centre

Get close to miniature Shetland ponies and Mediterranean donkeys that foal throughout the spring and early summer.  Other attractions include a Pets' Paddock and Aviary, a daily programme of activities, indoor and outdoor play areas for children, and a wealth of wildlife.

Cantonteign Falls

England’s highest waterfall, descending 220ft, is situated within Dartmoor National Park, in the heart of the wooded Teign Valley.

Tuckers Maltings

England’s only traditionalworking malthouse open to the public, where you can see barley being turned into malt for local breweries using the original Victorian machinery.

South Devon Railway

Bust of Agatha Christie near Moorlands HouseThe South Devon Railway runs seven miles along the beautiful Dart valley between Buckfastleigh and Totnes on a former Great Western Railway branch line.

Literary Connections

Moorlands setting inspired Agatha Christie to write her first book, The Mysterious Affair at Styles, whilst staying there in 1916.
