Holnicote House is leased from the National Trust and sits within a 12,500-acre estate extending towards Selworthy Beacon. This historic property has peaceful gardens and extensive lawns, along with an outdoor heated swimming pool.
Holnicote House is located on Exmoor National Park, just a few miles from the North Somerset coast. Superb walks are available right on the doorstep.
Porlock village is about 2 miles to the west. Here you’ll find a small supermarket, post office and pubs. A wider range of shops and facilities are available in Minehead, the nearest small town, about 4 miles away.

A medieval village with a castle (National Trust), yarn market, cobbled pavements, delightful shops, cafés & pubs. There are special events at the castle and grounds throughout the year.
Lynton & LynmouthThe quaint Victorian town of Lynton sits high on a hill, overlooking the coast and Lynmouth harbour. The two settlements are connected by the historic cliff railway.
Located near Taunton, the formal gardens at Hestercombe are much admired.
Managed by the National Trust, Arlington Court is a fine Regency House that is also home to the Trust’s carriage museum.
This interactive activity centre at Allerford offers horse riding, birds of prey and alpaca walks – something for all the family.
Discover Exmoor National Park in a specially designed Land Rover Defender. The itinerary mixes places of interest and historic sites, as well as viewing wildlife and the stunning scenery of Exmoor.
