Brecon is a town of narrow streets of Georgian and Jacobean buildings and pretty architecture. Located at the confluence of the Usk and Honddu rivers, it is the largest town within the Brecon Beacons National Park and has a worldwide reputation as the ‘Town of Jazz’.

• Brecon town with a wealth of history and character. You can stroll round the castle or priory, enjoy the Georgian and Jacobean buildings or visit one of the many museums
• Walking in the Brecon Beacons National Park - from the impressive waterfalls near Ystrafellte to the peaks of Pen-y-Fan and Corn Du, or the long sweeping ridges of the Black Mountains

Freedom Breaks Taster sessions

If there is a walking or leisure activity holiday running alongside your Freedom Break, you can join in for a special price of £20 per person per session for the first day plus any external supplier costs (£40 per person per session on subsequent days). You don’t have to book ahead - you can decide when you get there (subject to availability).
