Freedom Breaks offer a flexible way to enjoy some of Britain's most scenic areas.

Arran’s unique geology has created two quite different landscapes which have led it to be dubbed ‘Scotland in Miniature’. Another feature of Arran is its stunning variety of wildlife. From the dolphins and seals that swim off the island’s beaches to red deer and eagles, you don’t have to go far to be absorbed into Arran’s breathtaking natural beauty.

Highlights of your stay could include:

  • Brodick Castle, with 600 years of history, a fabulous collection of valuable artefacts, and stunning views over Brodick Bay to the Ayrshire Coast
  • Great walks ranging from gentle coastal strolls, to the mighty glacial valleys of Glen Sannox and Glen Rosa, and the magnificent peaks of Goatfell and Cir Mor
  • Holy Isle, located in Lamlash Bay, has an ancient spiritual heritage stretching back to the 6th century
  • Arran’s superb wildlife. Seals frequently bask on the rocks in Lamlash Bay, whilst red deer and eagles are often seen in the upland areas
  • Isle of Arran Distillery at Lochranza offers tours, an exhibition, shop and restaurant
  • A tour of Arran's 7 golf courses
