The mellow honey-coloured stone of the Cotswolds can be found everywhere in Bourton-on-the-Water, and Harrington House is no exception. This ivy-clad mansion can trace its origins to Tudor times, but owes much of its character to a Georgian makeover in the 1730s. Its Palladian front to the village has been described as an architectural tour de force. Accommodation is contained in both the main house and adjacent cottages. Bourton-on-the-Water is just one of a delightful collection of towns and villages that make the Cotswolds justly famous.
