The view from Chy Morvah's lounge and dioning room encompassses all that is great about the Cornish coast. The vast sweep of sand that lines St Ives Bay is truncated by the dramatic cliffs and craggy islets of Godrevy Point, the turquoise sea abutting the gold and green land. A short walk from this seaside vantage point, the town of St Ives is both a tourist hotspot and a working community, with artists and fishermen rubbing shoulders with walkers and excited children clutching buckets and spades. Cornwall is famous for its remote coastal paths, which lead to dramatic headlands and glorious sandy coves.
