From £1595 - 13 nights
Our hotels have been selected to offer accommodation of real character and comfort, with a true Moroccan flavour. We stay in charming riads and converted kasbahs with good standards of comfort and facilities, some with pools. The nature of the riads mean that not all rooms are the same and they are not of uniform standard; however, they offer the chance to get to know the real Morocco, experience a warm and friendly welcome and are decorated in local styles.

Our first two nights, and our final evening, are spent in Marrakech in a specially selected riad near the hub-bub of the Djemaa el Fna. We stay in the Riad les Bougainvillies or a riad of equivalent standard, offering a tranquil retreat only a short distance from the city centre.

From here we head for the hills, and the peace of our Kasbah accommodation set amidst the palm groves. We spend 4 nights in Auberge dar Itrane, or accommodation of equivalent standard, before moving on to the Cascades D'ouzoud and our accommodation at the Riad Cascades D'ouzoud where we spend one night.
We continue our theme of peace and tranquility as our accommodation moves for one night at Le Jardin de Issil, or similar, and then on to the solitude of the desert and our camp amidst the dunes of the Atlantic coast, near Tafna. We stay for 2 nights in the camp, accommodated with comfortable twin beds (single rooms not available) and a central ‘caidal’ used for eating and socialising. It is a lovely way to experience tradition and this unspoilt area of the country.

On to Essaouria, we spend 2 nights relaxing in this coastal haven, at the Hotel Vagabond, just a short stroll from souks of this ancient city.
