Charles is a semi-retired vicar and retired architect. He has led walking, long-distance trails, City Breaks, Discovery Tours and family holidays for HF Holidays. He has visited Krakow and its surroundings; elegant, surprising and painful. Charles is a Trustee of Torquay Museum, walks Devon with their rambling group, plays chess and enjoys science and documentary programmes. He is married to Theres from Switzerland; they have two daughters and travel whenever they can.

Rob studied Geography and then Town Planning which has given him a lifelong interest in people and places. He has travelled widely in Europe and worldwide and has visited many of Europe's major cities. Rob likes to research historical and architectural history in relation to the cities he visits, as well as enjoying their present day attributes such as outdoor areas, markets, cafés and restaurants! Cities usually have some distinctive characteristics which can range from the musical and artistic to architectural icons and Rob endeavours to identify and explore them.
