These routes follow quiet country lanes along Jersey’s cycle network with some inclines depending on the route. There are some busier sections when entering and leaving St. Helier.
Day 1: Arrive at your hotel. Enjoy a stroll around attractive St. Helier from where you can walk or take the ferry to the 16th century Elizabeth Castle.
Day 2: Cycle along St. Aubin’s Bay before heading inland to the Jersey War Tunnels built during the German occupation. Continue on to Hamptonne, an open-air museum, before cycling past the Dannemarche and Millbrook Reservoirs back to your hotel (10 miles).
Day 3: Explore the west of the island as you cycle towards St. Aubins. Follow the former track of the Jersey Railway Company to La Corbière lighthouse and then continue along St. Ouen’s Bay before returning inland back to St. Helier (14 miles).
Day 4: Cycle to the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust, a world-renowned zoo and pioneer in endangered species. Alternatively, cycle to the east of the island past the Jersey Pottery to Mont Orgueil Castle. Returning to St. Helier, pass La Hogue Bie, a prehistoric burial site which also houses a command bunker dating from the German occupation (8 or 13 miles).
Day 5: Departure day or enjoy additional nights to continue your exploration of this intriguing island.

You will be provided with a 21-gear bicycle. In the event of a bicycle problem, our bicycle supplier will come to meet you with a replacement bicycle.
Around 2 weeks before your holiday, you will be sent route directions and a map for this holiday. Jersey has a network of sign-posted routes which follow quiet country roads and the Greenways. Our suggested routes utilise these sign-posted routes but you can easily shorten or lengthen our suggested routes or explore different parts of the island by following these routes.
