From £1395 - 13 to 14 nights
We stay at a selection of mountain and beach resorts and colonial style guesthouses with great character.
On arrival stay at the beach resort of Club Dolphin, located north of Colombo on the coast at Waikkal. A welcoming place to unwind after our flight.
At Anuradhapura stay at the Palm Garden Village. Well equipped rooms are set in chalets in extensive gardens with a large swimming pool. A lovely place to relax after visiting the ancient cities.

We then stay at the Amaya Lake, a quiet location with beautiful views, before transfering to its sister hotel, the Amaya Hills. Perched on the hillside above the colonial town of Kandy, the hotel has stunning views over the surrounding area, and a lovely pool in which you can relax at the end of your days explorations.
In Nuwara Eliya, we stay at the Grand Hotel, once a colonial governor's house. This imposing building offers us a snapshot of history, and of times gone by. It has oodles of character, and provides us with the perfect base to explore the surrounding countryside and its tea trails.
Our final accommodation is spent at the Mount Lavinia Hotel close to Colombo. It is a large coastal resort, once the residence of the British Governor, with a private beach, inviting pool and large terrace from which to watch the sunset. Two nights here provide the perfect finale to your holiday.
