8 to 14 miles each day with up to 5,000 ft of ascent.
As well as using some of the best known and most exciting routes, our itinerary takes us into some of the less frequented areas of the Lake District. Each day’s guided walk will be chosen from the following routes. However due to the challenging nature of the walks it may be necessary to change walks or modify routes.
From Haweswater, we ascend Harter Fell, cross Nan Bield Pass to Mardale III Bell, via Thornthwaite Beacon to Threshwaite Mouth. From Caudale Moor we descend to the Kirkstone Pass Inn.
Wonderful walking from the quiet valley of Ennerdale to the summit of Great Borne. From Starling Dodd we climb Red Pike to the delightful ridge of High Stile, the highpoint of the walk, continue to High Crag, descend to Scarth Gap and continue over Haystacks before descending to Honister Pass.
From Seathwaite we take the Corridor route to Lingmell Col and Lingmell. We ascend Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England before heading over Broad Crag, to Great End and back to Seathwaite via Esk Hause and Grains Gill.
We start our day at Wanthwaite in St Johns in the Vale before going onto Great Dodd and crossing Sticks Pass to the high ridge and Helvellyn. A breathtaking descent takes us down Swirral Edge to Catstye Cam and back to the shores of Ullswater at Glenridding
Little Langdale is our destination to ascend Great Carrs via the remote valley of Greenburn Beck and Wet Side Edge. A wonderful long ridge walk follows over Grey Friar, Swirl How, the Old Man of Coniston, Dow Crag and Brown Pike before arriving in the picturesque village of Coniston.
