The charming resort town of Petrovac enjoys its position on a curved bay, with harbour and castle at one end and a chapel placed scenically on a rock out to sea. There is a preservation order on Petrovac to retain the sandstone houses no higher than five stories, so the town has retained its appeal, unlike its neighbour Budva.
There are many bars and souvenir shops along the promenade. There is a small grocery store behind the hotel. There are several ATMs around town and a large supermarket.

These fantastic Venetian citadels were built to fend off the attacks of Ottoman pirates, including the famous Barbarosa. Positioned on the incredibly scenic Kotor Fjord, this will be a free day to remember.
