Music of Mozart & Haydn

The two greatest composers in the second half of the 18^th century met in Vienna in the 1780s.  They became great friends and admired each other's music enormously.  Despite Haydn being twice the age of Mozart, both composers learnt from each other and there are many instances of similar ideas being used in their works.  This holiday will explore a wonderfully rich period of music and will draw on the composer's letters and those of their contemporaries
