Self-Guided Trail on the Norfolk Coast Path

By car:

If you wish to leave your car at either the start or the end of the trail, there are frequent bus services between Hunstanton and Cromer for those wishing to return and pick up their car. From Cromer there are regular buses (several each hour) to the nearby resort of Sheringham; journey time 10-15 minutes. Timetables are available at www.traveline.org.uk. From Sheringham the ‘Coasthopper’ bus runs every hour from to Old Hunstanton; journey time 1hr 20mins - see www.norfolkgreen.co.uk

By train:

The nearest station to the start of the holiday is at Kings Lynn. There are direct trains every hour from London King’s Cross to Kings Lynn, with the journey taking 1 hour 35mins. The Coasthopper bus runs from Kings Lynn to Hunstanton. Alternatively details of recommended taxi companies can be found in your Personal Information Pack.

Your last night’s accommodation is in Cromer. Cromer is situated on a branch line with hourly trains to Norwich; journey time around 45mins. From Norwich there are regular trains on to London and the rest of the UK.
