You will stay on board a Dutch barge, the Angela Esmee for the duration of this cycling holiday. You will be accommodated in a 2-berth twin bed cabin with its own private bathroom, shower, toilet and wash basin. Each cabin has a window and you can choose between a lower deck or upper deck (supplement payable) cabin. Having undergone a refurbishment in the winter of 2012 the vessel now boasts a total of 42 cabins (32 lower deck / 10 upper) as well as benefiting from further extension of the restaurant and lounge areas meaning that the communal areas have now doubled in size. The cabins come complete with twin beds, central heating, sheets and duvets, en suite facilities.

Barge facilities

Further to the refurbishments taking place the barge now has a salon with a restaurant and a completely separate lounge with bar and dance floor. There is also a partially covered sun deck where there is a seating area and space to store the bicycles.

Meals

This holiday is sold on a Full Board basis.

Breakfast consists of a large buffet style spread of bread, cheese, jams, juice, tea and coffee. Guests are able to put together a picnic lunch from the breakfast selection. The evening meal consists of three courses of Dutch and international cooking. Wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks are available on board but are not included in the holiday price. Coffee and tea are served several times a day.
