Hotel Erhart, 4-star

The Hotel Erhart is a well-run and friendly hotel with a welcoming, informal atmosphere. The hotel is run by the Erhart family who will offer you a very warm welcome, and they are very keen to ensure that their guests get the most from their stay. Situated in a peaceful setting with meadows and a river at the front, it is also convenient for all the local facilities, and is just a few minutes’ walk from the local bus stop and supermarket.

Hotel Erhart has 28 bedrooms. Most have a balcony and benefit from views of the surrounding mountains. Twin beds are, as is normal in Austria, arranged as a large frame with separate mattresses and bedding.

Hotel Erhart has a comfortable lounge and a spacious dining room. On the lower floor there is a sauna, bar and a heated ski/boot room.

Our holidays at Hotel Erhart are on a Half Board basis and include breakfast and evening meal.

Breakfast

Hotel Erhart offers a self-service buffet breakfast:

Evening meal

Hotel Erhart provides a four-course evening meal, served at the table, with a choice at each courseThere is also a self service salad bar and cheese buffet. A vegetarian alternative is available on request. If you have special dietary requirements then please discuss these with the manager.

Lunches (payable locally)

Hotel Erhart provides a free picnic lunch, which guests put together from the breakfast buffet (excluding drinks). Alternatively you can buy ingredients for a picnic lunch from the shops in the village. On certain days it may be possible to eat in a café or mountain hut; your leaders will advise.

In the evenings

Each evening your walking leaders will tell you about the choice of walks for the next day and answer any questions you may have. During the evening you may like to join in an optional organised evening activity, such as a quiz or a visit to the local skittle alley.

The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. There is normally a good mix of ages, of new clients and 'regulars' from Britain and overseas, and of couples, friends and people travelling alone.
