A group transfer from and to Carmarthen railway station is included in your holiday. Please meet at Carmarthen railway station for a late afternoon transfer to the first hotel. Exact times can be confirmed approximately 12 weeks prior to your holiday. This enables us to consult the most up to date train timetables and plan the transfers accordingly.
By train:
There is a regular rail service to Carmarthen, which usually involves a change at either Swansea or Newport. For those travelling from overseas the rail journey from London to Carmarthen takes approximately 4½ hours. Our first hotel is located in the village of Felindre Farchog approximately 30 miles northwest of Carmarthen. The transfer takes approximately 1 hour. By car:
It is possible to leave your car in the hotel car park in Felindre Farchog for the duration of the holiday. Visit www.theaa.com for further information on planning your journey.
A transfer is not provided for those wishing to return to their car, however, the journey is possible by public transport. From St David’s there is a bus service to Fishguard, which takes 50 minutes. Change at Fishguard for the hourly service to Felindre Farchog - journey time 22 minutes. Services on Sundays can vary so it is worth checking the timetable at www.traveline-cymru.org.uk
