From £269 - 3 to 4 nights
Guests will each need a soprano uke – that’s the smallest one (they also come in tenor and baritone versions). It looks like a tiny guitar with only four strings. The one that looks like a little banjo and is associated with George Formby is a banjo-ukulele or banjolele. The tuning and fingering is the same but it costs a lot more and is twice as loud (just like some people we all know), so if you’re buying go for a cheap wooden bodied uke. Any good music shop will advise you. Most are of Far Eastern origin and will cost you around £15-£30. A spare set of strings is also a good idea.
The holiday music book will be provided by the leader, along with photocopied sheets.
