By train:

From London St Pancras take a Eurostar train direct to Paris. Upon arrival at Paris Nord Eurostar, transfer across the city to Paris Austerlitz.

From Paris Austerlitz take a direct train to Souillac. The journey time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Contact Rail Europe to check times and availability. www.raileurope.co.uk

From Souillac train station you can either walk to their accommodation or take a taxi.

By air:

Arriving at Bordeaux airport

Airlines: British Airways / Air France / BMIBaby / Easyjet

UK airport departures: London Gatwick

From the airport take a taxi or bus to Bordeaux-St-Jean train station. Airport bus services depart every 45 minutes and take around 30 minutes. Alternatively you can take a taxi.

From Bordeaux-St-Jean station take a train to Souillac, where your holiday starts. The journey takes approximately 4 hours and will involve one change of train.


Arriving at Limoges airport

Airlines: Ryanair / Flybe

UK airport departures: London Stansted / East Midlands / Liverpool / Southampton

From the airport take a taxi to Limoges train station. The journey takes around 20 minutes. From Limoges train station take a train to Souillac. The journey time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.


Arriving at Bergerac airport

Airlines: Flybe

UK airport departures: Birmingham / Bristol / Exeter / Southampton / Leeds Bradford / East Midlands / London Stansted / Liverpool

From the airport take a taxi to Bergerac train station. The journey takes around 10 minutes. From Bergerac train station take a train to Souillac. The journey time is approximately 4 hours and will involve two changes of train.


Arriving from Rodez airport

Airlines: Ryanair

UK airport departures: London Stansted

From the airport take a taxi to Rodez train station. The journey takes around 15 minutes. From Rodez train station take a train to Souillac. The journey time is approximately 3 hours and will involve one change of train.

Returning home at the end of the tour

Take a train to your chosen airport or back to Paris, where you can board a Eurostar train to London. The nearest train station to St Céré is Biars-Bretenoux, which connects with Brive.
