Scottish Islands Garden Tour

This holiday, based on the Isle of Arran, is for the adventurous gardens enthusiast. The itinerary includes visits to other islands, and to the mainland. Please note that this will be a more energetic holiday requiring a certain amount of walking ability (up to 3 miles in a day) as well as fitness to travel on small foot passenger ferries.

Holiday Highlights:

• See a large collection of rhododendrons at the 54 acre Achamore Garden on the community-owned island of Gigha, off the west coast of Kintyre
• Enjoy the colourful terraced gardens and the Victorian pleasure gardens at Culzean Castle Gardens in Ayrshire
• Stroll through the walled garden and the Himalayan planthunter’s trail at Arran Castle Gardens, dating from 1710
