The historic market town of Sedbergh nestles beneath the beautiful dome-shaped Howgill Fells. Thorns Hall, an oak-panelled 400 year old manor house with a colourful history, is on the edge of the town of Sedbergh and ideally situated to explore the Howgills, Yorkshire Dales, Moors and the Eden Valley. This is an area rich in tradition and history, filled with castles and abbeys as well as spectacular and unspoilt scenery.
