For a taste of everything quintessentially English, the Cotswold Way is a footpath that offers it all: historic castles, ancient abbeys, stately homes all set amidst glorious countryside. Follow this famous trail as it snakes its way along the western escarpment of the Cotswolds.

• Far reaching views across the Severn Valley from the Cotswold escarpment
