From £2050 - 12 to 13 nights

Walks are on marked paths, some through dense rainforest, with distances up to 9 miles on frequently undulating terrain, the greatest ascent is 2,619 feet at Gros Piton.
Day 1: To St Lucia - Fly to St Lucia and transfer to the Bay Gardens Inn set on Rodney Bay, for 12 nights.
Day 2: Pigeon Island - Leisurely morning exploration of Pigeon Island on the north eastern tip of the island, and visit Fort Rodney and/or Signal Hill, a former British Naval lookout. A winding trail through the island’s 17th and 18th century ruins leads in to the village of Gros Islet with its quaint village atmosphere.
Day 3: Millett Trail - Walk on the Millet Trail in the heart of the island through a beautiful forest reserve to the historic La Sikwi sugar mill for lunch. The area is beautiful, cool and refreshing, complete with the sounds and sights of the excellent bird life along the trail.
Day 4: At leisure - Today is at leisure to relax at the hotel, on Reduit beach, or explore the area. A variety of optional excursions are available including snorkelling, catamaran trips and glass bottom boat trips.
Day 5: North Coast Walk - Explore the beaches of the picturesque northwest Atlantic coast on a relaxed coastal walk.
Day 6: Rainforest & Gros Islet - Into the heart of the rainforest. We can try fresh tropical fruit and see the colourful birdlife, including possibly the elusive St Lucian parrot. This evening we visit the town of Gros Islet for the St Lucia 'Jump Up' and to dine at Laurel's Restaurant.
Day 7: Castries - Morning visit to Castries and the lively Saturday market, including a stroll around the capital and the Cathedral, and lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon we head for the historic fortress of Morne Fortune with panoramic views.
Day 8: Grande Anse Trail - Discover the northeast of the island, with lovely sea views and a walk on the Grande Anse Trail, gradually leading down to the ocean. A stop is made to view a cattle egret colony, before returning to the hotel.
Day 9: Mamiku Gardens - Head for the east coast and take a coastal track to Mamiku Gardens, past sculptured rock cut platforms, stacks and arches with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Continue to the interesting Dennery village. Dinner at the Stony Hill Villa, set in tropical gardens with wonderful sea views.
Day 10: At leisure - At leisure to relax at the hotel and beach, snorkel in the Caribbean waters or explore further.
Day 11: Gros Piton - A boat trip along the east coast to Soufriere and the most strenuous walk to the iconic peak of Gros Piton, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offering fantastic views. There is an option for a less strenuous climb, halfway up the mountain.
Day 12: Toussaint Estate - A gentle walk through the Toussaint Estate with a visit to the Creole heritage village of Fond Latisab. This evening there will be a farewell dinner at the seafront Coalpot Restaurant.
Day 13: To London - Morning at leisure before a transfer to the airport for the flight to London.
Day 14: London - Early morning arrival.
