Wendy Tolson

Wendy is leading this holiday on 18 July 2012

Wendy started her love of design with her own fashion label “Golly Gosh!” designing and manufacturing wedding and ball gowns. Some of her creations can now be seen at the National Fashion Museum in Bath. Wendy transferred her creative flair to floral art and finally, after studying at Sparsholt Agricultural College, she moved into horticulture and garden design. Alongside her garden design business, Wendy who now lives in Hampshire, teaches garden design at her local college. “Working with plants is such a thrill; watching them grow and change through the seasons it’s like a never ending Technicolor movie and no matter how much expertise one might have, nature always throws up some surprises to keep one on one’s toes”.
